Some of you might not know, but we sell GIA certified diamonds. This means the diamonds have been certified by the Gemological Institute of America, which is an institute for gemological research and education. It will be the most accurate opinion you can receive with grading diamonds.

Now, what are the benefits of buying a GIA diamond vs. one you have an appraiser look at? Well, as mentioned above, when it’s GIA certified, the information you receive will be as accurate as you can get.

You will also receive a certificate with every single solitary detail about the diamond, so anything you ever would need to know or want to know about said diamond, it’s all right there.

Along these same lines, you’ll know you’re getting the real deal and nothing synthetic. Unfortunately, in this industry, some jewelers might not be so honest, so having a GIA certified stone will ensure that you’re getting what you pay for.

As well, there is a diamond known as a fracture-filled diamond, and these in particular have surface cracks that can be artificially filled, which causes these diamonds to be very low in quality. GIA wouldn’t give these types of diamonds a certification.

The bottom line is when you’re spending a large sum of money on a diamond, you want to not only get your money’s worth, but make sure you absolutely love what you’re buying. It’s not an impulse purchase and it’s something that should last forever. Going the extra step to make sure you’re buying a GIA diamond is the smart thing to do.

Hope to see you soon in the showroom so we can show you all our GIA diamonds. Come visit!
